The basics

Koko Lists is a site for ranked, community-voted lists — dynamic rankings anyone can vote on, and anyone can add to. By creating an account or using the site, you're agreeing to these terms.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. You need to be able to provide a working email address to sign up. Don't create accounts to impersonate someone else, and don't create multiple accounts to manipulate votes or rankings.

Content you submit

When you suggest a place, write a review, post a comment, or submit a business claim, you're confirming it's genuinely yours to share and that it's accurate to the best of your knowledge. You keep ownership of what you write, but you give us the right to display, distribute, and store it as part of running the site — that's the whole point of a community-built list.

Don't submit anything false, defamatory, harassing, spammy, or that infringes someone else's rights. We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate this, at our discretion.

Business claims

If you claim a business listing, you're representing that you're actually authorized to speak for that business. Claims are reviewed before being approved, and a false claim can result in account suspension.

No warranty

Rankings on this site are driven by real user votes, not editorial fact-checking — treat them as opinion, not certified fact. The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't guarantee it'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly up to date.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
